Integrative Myofascial Massage

A highly effective clinical approach to providing relief from chronic pain and tension.  Every tissue in our body is wrapped in fascia, an interconnected web which holds our body together while also working as a lubricant to help our tissues glide with and against each other in order to move with ease.  However, things like physical trauma, postural patterns, repetitive movements and/or lack of movement causes the layers of our fascia to become restricted or “stuck”.  This restriction results in pain, tightness, poor posture and a reduction in range of motion.  Uses a technique called Myofascial Release (MFR) to release the restrictions and re-align the structure of the body. MFR is one of the most effective techniques available for relieving pain & tightness, improving posture and restoring ease and range of movement. We call this integrative because other techniques like, trigger point, cross fiber friction and more, may be applied if the tissue calls for it.

Available in 60, 90 or 120 minute sessions.

Assisted Stretching

Using a technique called Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), taut tissues can be neurologically retrained to allow for more ease and range of motion.  This treatment combines joint mobilization, PNF and Thai massage techniques to leave you feeling more flexibility in your muscles and balance in your joints.

Available in 30 minute sessions or, as a 15 or 30 minute add-on to another treatment.
